2021.09.22 22:44 KCooper815 How can I cheat about 5ish answers for my chemistry ions test?

Don't say "oh don't cheat it'll hurt you in the long run" because I'm not having a C in chemistry and getting kicked out of a club for the rest of the year that I just got into because of one single 0 or 100 test. My entire school life so far has been perfect and this is not ruining it. This will be the only time I cheat
I have most of the ions down, I just can't get down like 5 of them and I only have until Friday. Would the old "write on your arm" trick still work?
For anyone who doesn't know, because I had never had one before now, a 0 or 100 test is either get all of the answers and get all the 100 points, or get 0 points and an F in your grades. There is no in between.

2021.09.22 22:44 dale_shingles [Race Report] The Inaugural IRONMAN 70.3 Washington

Race Information

Pre-Race Goals
Goal Description Accomplished
A PR Something Yes
B PR Overall No
C AG Top 10 No
Background and Training This was my fourth race of the season and as much as I love racing, I was ready for this season to end. I learned a lot from 70.3 VBR, had a conservative race at IMCdA, and tried to perform at 70.3 Ohio on tired legs. I had more or less been in high gear since January and the training was wearing on me quite a bit. I wrote an abbreviated build for the 6 weeks I had between Ohio and Washington to do two cycles and felt quite relieved when it was finally time to taper. I was hoping to lean on my experience with some hilly courses and a flat run to piece together a decent race and with all the cool kits at St. George the same weekend, maybe I could crack the top 10 in my AG.
Pre-Race I was tired of racing hot races, so I got my wish and got cold and rainy. I also am super particular about my pre-race routines and do my best to stay calm when things don't go my way. Naturally, that started when I landed in Seattle only to find out that my checked bag with all my gear didn't make it onto the plane at my first airport. Slightly inconvenient, but even moreso that I stayed later than I should have a the airport than I wanted because of my missing bag and other reasons that it was nearly 3 hours later when I finally checked into my hotel. It's funny how a $300 travel voucher can take the sting out of this slight inconvenience. Luckily, the grocery shopping I was going to do that night could easily be done the next morning since I wasn't likely to get my gear early enough to go for a swim before check in. (Un)luckily, the airline called in the middle of the night to let me know my bag had arrived, so after re-planning my morning, we were back on track. I got to the race venue, checked in, went for a quick swim, and then went to pick up my bike from TBT only to find out that my bike had been dropped of at St. George, Utah, which was quite a pickle, especially since I was pretty sure I did in fact decline my WCQ. The TBT rep was kind and said he'd personally be driving to Utah to pick up my bike that night and that I would once again have to adjust my schedule to come back to the race venue to collect and check in my bike the next morning. After finding a wire in my front tire before my last test ride, buying a new latex tube to replace the spare I burned (because two is one and one is none), and being thankful I wasn't the girl who was missing a proprietary seatpost wedge desperately trying to source on in the area, I racked up and headed back to town to settle down without sighting much of the course at all, something I'm normally very diligent about but was just pretty much ready to be done with the race after all of that.
Race Morning As expected, it was raining when I got up. It was also a little chilly, which could be a problem, as I didn't exactly bring anything warm to race in. I grabbed my gear bag and drove to the race venue where I asked to present a parking pass I knew nothing about when I tried to park. I didn't have one, smile, and the kind gentleman let me park in that lot anyway. Would I trade convenient parking for the misplaced bag and bike? No, but convenient parking plus $300 travel voucher isn't so bad.
The Swim This was going to be a race where the water was warmer than the air. I had not swam particularly well at my last two races but was getting some good sessions in at the pool in the last few weeks so I fibbed slightly when I lined up with the 33-35 group. Everyone lies anyway, and I felt good, so I hoped I wouldn't regret it. The water was slightly colder than it was two days before when I tested, but still nice and clear and I took the inside line and felt like I was moving along pretty well. I felt like I was grabbed more than normal, not just bumped into but actually grabbed and pulled, but we manage, fight through the crowd at the turn, stare in awe at the athlete who was doing an individual medley (and quite quickly too), and make it out of the water in my best 70.3 time. "Goal A" completed.
T1 Transition snaked around and my bike was at the opposite end of transition which meant I had quite a long run. Luckily that meant I didn't have to walk my bike out very far before we got back on pavement. Everyone else seemed to be putting on jackets, vests, and/or arm warmers. I didn't have any of that, so I just grabbed my bike went went. I the bumpy bit between my rack and the pavement knocked the elastics off their anchor points so my flying mount was less graceful than normal, and we quickly questioned my wardrobe choice. Not like I could really do anything about it anyway.
The Bike I normally seed myself in the middle of the swim, but my little white lie coupled with my better than normal swim actually got me out with the stronger riders. I was cold and felt slightly off, as if I was struggling to hit my target power. It was slightly windy but I was paranoid I had a flat and constantly checked, but for at least the first half of the ride I felt like I was riding through sand. The roads were wet so I was careful around corners and there were a few fun but sketchy winding descents that could have been treacherous. I was covered in dirt, my bike was dirty, and I was cold, and every time I tried to drink out of my frame-mounted aero bottle I got a mouth full of grit, but luckily the back half of the race was fairly flat and with a tailwind we were able to turn in a decent time but unless I run like a madman, overall PR and AG Top 10 is likely out of reach. I got out of my shoes and prepared for my flying dismount.
T2 I forgot my feet were numb and didn't stick the landing of my flying mount and almost wrecked my bike. I saved it and almost bit it again on the next step because my other foot was numb. I took a hit to my leg but the bike was fine. I hid my run gear under a bag in case it rained back at transition so at least I would have some dry socks. My feet were still numb by the time I had run out of transition but we weren't going to stop to warm up anyway. I do take notice that most of transition is empty, or slightly emptier than when I normally come in.
The Run I was slightly behind on my nutrition on the bike and I wasn't sure if I had overbiked but the legs were turning over. Plus, I couldn't feel my feet, my watch was giving me erratic paces because we were mostly on trail, so I wasn't 100% sure of my pace either. I like to rely on metrics for pacing but sometimes you feel good and gun it, and this was one of those days. GPS finally got a lock and I was flying, way below where I should have been for a 13.1. We ignore it and decide to explore this new world of racing above threshold and I skip the first two aid stations and start taking Gatorade Endurance at the third. I have teammates volunteering at the next aid station and they give me some encouragement. I see the leaders coming back and that more or less confirms that I'm relatively close to the front. A spectator gives us news at the turn that we go downhill for 3 miles, which I wouldn't have noticed if he didn't say anything, I felt like the way out was completely flat. The miles go by and I'm just waiting for my body to tell me it's had enough, but the legs are still turning over. There's a paved section right at the end before a big kicker and that's where we figure out we overdid it and I stop at the last aid station to take two Cokes before struggling to to make it off the trail. We find a little gas in the tank as I hear the excitement at the finish and we stop the clock under 5:00 despite running a PR HM to close out the day, missing AG top 10 by seconds.
Post Race The girl I passed at mile 3 and hawked me at mile 12.5 congratulated me on my run. I chatted it up with a couple other runners who battled me on the course before making my way to the food tent where the volunteer told me he didn't if after we went through the line and ate we were still hungry and wanted to come back 2 or 3 more times. I skipped the healthy stuff and inhaled a pizza while freezing, got a space blanket, and then snuck back into transition to change out of my wet kit.
Reflection Weather aside, Maple Valley offered a great course and race venue. It felt like getting spectator support on the course was hard, but the layout itself was fun and challenging. I was proud of myself for handling the mishaps the way that I did, but then again, $300 does take the sting out of a slight inconvenience. After what I felt was too conservative of a run at Ohio, I really hunkered down and worked on my bike endurance to give me more confidence to let it go on the run and that seemed to work. Or maybe it was the cooler weather. Or maybe it was the Endorphin Pros on the rail trail. All in all, I probably overdid it with the race schedule, 3x 70.3 and an IM was quite draining and I'm happy to take it easy for a few weeks before getting back on the bike to see what I can do next year.

2021.09.22 22:44 Silver_Sonic_23 How Time's End might have happened. (kinda dark)

For background for Chapter 5, Mustache Girl snuck into Hat Kid's ship, destroyed some time pieces, turned most of the planet's surface into lava, made a massive castle, caused volcanos to come up from the planet, and stopped the rotation of the planet. Also, the planet got a LOT smaller. I have no idea how far back in time Mustache Girl sent the world or what she even did.
However this happened, this caused everyone to go to Mustache Girl's Castle to beat her up.
Mustache Girl made the castle, so she was already there. And Hat Kid got there using her spaceship and dropping from the sky. But, how did everyone else get to her castle?
First, you have to realize that basically the entire planet turning into lava would be a pretty traumatic event, so some people probably didn't come to the castle because they were too scared of the lava. This would explain why not everyone was able to be at Mustache Girl's castle.
The Mafia have been seen to be able to bounce on lava for a long time, but I'm not sure if they could lava bounce all the way to her castle. If they could, then they'd never be able to sit again. Though they probably used the cannons to launch themselves and make the trip shorter. The Mafia Goons could also carry the crows, old men, Mafia Boss, and Cooking Cat to bring them to the castle. However, I honestly think that Mafia Town turned into the castle, due to Mustache Girl wanting to change Mafia Town specifically in "Down With the Mafia." So, that problem could be solved easily.
The Moon Penguins live on the Moon. which wasn't affected by the change. Though this raises the question of how they get to and from the Moon. However they do it (I'm guessing either rockets or flight), they'd probably immediately go down to Dead Bird Studio to help the owls and CAW agents get to safety. DJ Grooves and the Conductor may be enemies, but DJ Grooves may not want the Conductor or his workers to become fried chicken. And even if DJ Grooves hated the Conductor that much (which he probably doesn't), the Moon Penguins wouldn't want fellow coworkers to get killed. The Tourist could probably follow the Moon Penguins down as he was last seen on the moon (based on his dialogue in Subcon and Battle of the Birds).
Snatcher and the Dwellers have been shown to be able to fly, so they could get there easily. The Snatcher Minions would be harder to bring, but I think that Snatcher could probably carry them easily, based on what he did with them in his battle. This explains why Vanessa didn't go to Time's End, because she cannot fly and is stuck in her house.
The Goats could do what the Mafia Goons did and bounce along the lava. We never see a goat on lava, so maybe they can bounce like Hat Kid and the Mafia. And with how big they are, they'd easily be able to carry the Nomads and the Lazy Paw Gang. Though the question is whether they'd have more or less burns than the Mafia once they arrived. I think that the lava on Mustache Girl's world is less dangerous than on our world, so most people should be fine. I think this because Hat Kid is easily able to heal the burns after touching only one health pon.
Time's End probably didn't treat the DLC areas as kind though. This may explain why the DLC characters didn't make it to MU's castle canonically.
It may be called the SS Literally Can't Sink, but the Captain probably didn't expect lava. I looked it up and apparently cruise ships are made of steel, which can't be melted by lava. This means that the seals and fish on the ship would be fine, things might just get really hot. However, this is assuming that the ship would still be on the planet, unlike the literal mountains that ceased to exist once Mustache Girl changed the planet. And because the cruise ship doesn't seem to be at Mustache Girl's castle, I'm sadly going to guess the latter. Although the seals did have a chance to get to the castle, I'm guessing that the Captain's priority was probably getting them to solid ground and went to the nearest volcano to get them all situated. A massive situation like what happened in Time's End would probably cause a lot of fright for the seals, who are like children. So if they survived, the Captain wouldn't want them to get into any more harm than necessary. Though the fate of the Arctic Cruise staff is much better than those in Nyakuza Metro.
Nyakuza Metro takes place underground, and because Mustache Girl turned the surface of the planet into lava, the cats in the metro would be trapped underground with no escape. If lava got into the metro, all of the cats would have to take shelter in places where the lava isn't. Lava is very hot, so it's likely that the metro would basically turn into an oven. The only safe places would be the two areas in the entire metro with water, and those might not even be safe. Also, Mustache Girl changed the planet enough that all the areas in the metro might not exist yet. I think this because one of the cats is able to remember what the metro was like before everyone came there, and he didn't look that old. Either way, it's not a very good fate for those in Nyakuza Metro.
Also, the Badge Seller didn't appear in Time's end, which means that they probably died.
So, that is how I believe that everyone in Time's End got to Mustache Girl's Castle. This post got a bit dark.

2021.09.22 22:44 N150 Is it worth learning renekton?

I’m sorta new to league. Started around a month ago. I’m loving solo but I’ve seen people say that even 1 trick renektons have quit on him cause of how bad he is right now. I really like his kit, but if he just turns out to have a significant disadvantage against other solo laners, I’d rather not put the time into him.
On a side note, does renekton have like some sort of buff against nasus? I used to play a shit ton of Smite, and in that game they released Set and Horus at the same time, and if they faced eachother, their passives would get buffed, so I thought it’d be cool if they added that. Lmk if this is an actual thing.
