2021.10.19 07:17 yokesh351 Rarible introduces the minting or minting function of NFT at no cost

The non-fungible token market (NFT) Rarible has introduced a new modality titled “lazy minting” that promises users the ability to create non-fungible tokens at zero cost, all while improving environmental sustainability on the platform.
Rather than the traditional method by which data is stored on the blockchain immediately after minting or minting, Rarible announced Monday that, under its new program, NFTs are not minted at the time of their creation, but rather at the time of the purchase. It is the buyer who pays the gas fees when buying the item. In this case, the data will be stored in a decentralized peer-to-peer storage system called IPFS.
Amid the influx of new retail entrants into the NFT development space over the past year, a large segment has been disrupted by constantly high gas fees on the Ethereum network, raising its barrier to entry and diverting many investors. towards alternative blockchains, such as Solana.
According to data from Rarible Analytics, the current average price of gas in Rarible to mint a single ERC-721 token is 0.022ETH, equivalent to the current price of USD 82.26. This is actually a favorable time to coin on the platform, compared to the frequent times of high network activity when gas rates can soar into hundreds of dollars.
That is why the implementation of Rarible will be welcomed as a positive initiative by the community, although its potential impact on the market, in general, is still unknown.
Popular cryptocurrency exchanges such as Coinbase, FTX, and Binance have been among the latest groups of cryptocurrency companies to express their intention to build products and services in the development of NFT space. Coinbase garnered enormous social attention for the upcoming launch of its NFT marketplace, recording 1.1 million email subscriptions in the first 24 hours. A week later, this figure is now 2.35 million.
To add further context to this figure, NFT's leading market OpenSea has logged just over 263,000 unique users in the past 30 days, plus more than $ 3 billion in total volume.
According to the latest shareholders report, Coinbase registered 68 million verified users and 8.8 million monthly active users during the second quarter of 2021.
DappRadar analytics data reveals that Rarible has logged 10,100 unique users over a 30-day period, RARI, the platform's native token, has seen positive growth over the past month, increasing 80% from a one-year low. at the end of September to the current value of around $ 22.20.

2021.10.19 07:17 Tempest_021 1x1 M4F medieval fantasy Rp

It was a time of darkness, due to the machinations and thirst for power by a group of cultists, a power demon was unleashed upon the lands and kingdoms of Telfor. The foolish cultists vainly believed they could bend the demon lord to their will but how foolish they were. Once freed the demon slaughtered its would be masters and spread its demonic influence upon the lands. For years it caused chaos as it marched its demonic horde until a the kingdoms banded together behind a champion. Guided by a demoness that betrayed its own kind, the champion stayed the demon lord but such evil couldn't be killed so easily. It's death unleashed a blight upon the land.
It slowly began to corrupt the land but fortunately, divine power left behind by the gods proved able to keep it at bay. The twin crystals known as the tears of Illandra, one each held by the human kingdoms of Sindria and Torvin. The ancient elven life trees and the dwarf's hearts of the mountain each worked together to keep the blight in the southern part of the continent.
20 years had passed since since the champion and his demoness stayed the demon lord and inadvertently unleashed its blight. They had disappeared not long after, never seen again. As the power of the crystals, life trees and hearts of the mountains slowly begin to weaken, the blight creeps ever forward. Scholars, druids, mages all work to find a way to either restore power to this relics or end the blight for good but with little success. Fear is slowly spreading and with fear comes those taking advantage, religious groups claiming to hold the key to salvation quickly begin to take root.
Some of these groups preach that the only way to survive is with sacrifice, that the blight can be held off by sacrifice. Rumours swirl of people being kidnapped, taken to the blighted lands as offerings to appease the dark power.
If you have read this far then thank you, this is a rough plot that I'm eager to work on. I'm looking for a female, someone that enjoys world building, plots that have action, adventure, drama and romance. Due to my own age I prefer someone 21 plus. I rp on discord, use third person and would class myself as lit to adv. Lit and would like someone at the same level.

2021.10.19 07:17 ccoup2 Office Consulting to Traveling Project Engineer… Comp/Career Advice?

Hey everyone, looking for some advice from the vets/anyone else who’s done the traveling gig or perhaps has any other helpful input... Anyhow, I’ve worked for an AE firm doing consulting work for the last 4 years in the northeast. It’s been the typical 40ish hour week, home every night job. My time/experience has been pretty evenly split between being in the office behind the computer designing and being in the field overseeing contractors and inspecting. As for current compensation, I make between $55-60k per year as I don’t currently have my PE (or FE for that matter). That said, I have come to like being in the field and the ever changing environment more than being in an office behind a computer and don’t really have the desire to pursue the FE/PE. This led me to/I recently applied for a traveling field engineer position asking for $65-75k. A week or so later I was contacted by a recruiter and scheduled for an interview. The first interview was with the recruiter and all seemed well. The second interview was with the higher ups and halfway through I was a bit blindsided in that they seemed more interested in hiring me for a project engineering role (more managerial with less experienced field engineers under me) as opposed to the field engineering role I applied for as a result of my experience to date. That being said, I went through a third interview and they seemed very interested and made me an offer.
Offer was as follows…
-$70k base + OT>40 -$650 week subsistence/per diem -$5% minimum Bonus of base guaranteed and goes up with tenure. -Very good benefits (low ded./copay) -Normal Holidays Off -120 hrs pto/year to start -Accrued time per week in addition to PTO that essentially allows you to take an extended weekend for home travel once a month such as Friday to Monday off (it can’t be banked but doesn’t count against your PTO)
My initial reaction is the $70k offer is low as that’s the mid point of what I was asking for in a role with significantly less responsibility… but then again I see salary’s all over the place for traveling work and am not real sure what is fair here. Again it’s traveling for projects 9-12 months at a time. Typically (5) - 10 hour days a week and Saturdays if things get behind. As of now I’ll be about 2 hours from home and should be able to come home weekends but obviously that’s never guaranteed to last and could end up on the other side of the US. So I guess aside of the OT, I was expecting a higher offer based on them wanting me to take on a role with significantly more responsibility.
Any thoughts on compensation? Advice in traveling and that sort of thing?

2021.10.19 07:17 Cragwalker Moving to Kharkiv from the USA

Hi all, for the past 2 years I've been trying to get in contact with universities to pursue a master's degree and I'm pretty much being ignored. The primary reason I want to move to Kharkiv and Ukraine in general is to improve language skills and experience more of your wonderful country, so university is more of a means to an end, rather than the end goal. Could someone please give me some advice or suggestions to help me achieve this goal?

2021.10.19 07:17 BarelyHuman_1010 We're all aware of the Great Resignation movement going on in the west, will it ever come to India?

This is not about that.
This post is directed to people who work in offices for peanuts in salary, have the most horrid bosses and just have no personal life. Most of us work way past our shift and we'll labour laws don't really exist for any sector. So my question to you, the workforce or India, is will we ever see a massive coordinated movement like The Great Resignation? Will the whole workforce come together to take a step that will force positive change?
